​The Well is a large-scale immersive performance exploring complicity within technological systems. Small audiences are guided through ritualised somatic practice before encountering a projected figure trapped in a well, sustained by their collective breath, heartbeat, and attention. A guiding authority enforces rules, a planted spectator disrupts, and branching narratives sustain the illusion of choice. Ultimately, authority collapses as the guide becomes the captive, completing the system’s loop and revealing the audience’s entanglement within it.
